Here you find a small family hotel, hidden in the warm south of Crete, directly to the sea. Where you least expect it, you'll find a green, flourishing oasis, whose charm you discover immediately when you arrive and you see through the garden the bright blue sea behind the palm trees. In the southeast of Crete, you can experience lonely, undeveloped beaches, beautiful bays and always have the view to the Tripti Mountains. From the hotel you can walk in the solitude and make beautiful gorges and mountain walks. This shows all its beauty Crete: wild gorges, ancient churches and the miracle of the Cretan flora, the Spring Meadows and the hidden orchid fields. In the Palm Beach Hotel, you are far away from mass tourism. Sometimes you discover in the holidays a place, which attracts only one wish - to settle immediately on the spot. In such place is the small hotel. No later than at breakfast on the sun terrace by the sea, is clear, that you are in the middle of an oasis. In the Palm Beach Hotel, you can still enjoy the traditional Cretan cuisine. This is still mainly to biological and regional seasonal products and cooked with fresh organic olive oil. The cook, Mama Niki, is already over seventy and cooks with sea salt, herbs from the mountains and on the basis of old, traditional recipes. House specialties include lamb cooked in the oven or mountain goat and homemade cakes, Xerotigana (Cretan holiday pastries) or Loukoumades (Cretan donuts). Vegetarian menu is available, a small lunch menu is offered. There is a cocktail bar by the sea and a bar in the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers next to the home cooking and to the fish barbecues at the sea, wine, cheese and olive oil tasting. In the Spring you can dine in the fireplace room, in the summer to autumn under the pergola in the open. The rooms are furnished in Cretan style, simple but nice. There are six rooms with sea view (at additional cost 20,- Euro/night). The use of sun beds are free. The hotel is a peaceful retreat without animation programs and is also suitable for groups, family feasts and seminars. Directly at the hotel you can snorkel, swim and dive. You go from the terrace over a wide staircase a few steps into the sea. Children are welcome, in the garden is a small sand pit, different board games and books from the library can be borrowed. Near the hotel there are sandy beaches (about 3 minutes by car) and in the village of the Hotel are very good, traditional Cretan restaurants (about 10 minutes walking). Rental cars can be booked through the hotel, bicycle hire is in place, and about 5 minutes walking away is a supermarket, bakery, confectionery, pharmacy, Flower Shop, doctor.
